Finally the work is starting to pay off!

Well, after a long hard dedicated spell, I finally feel like Im on the right track. I just finished an art exhibit in Bedford, IN in Feb, it was a sweetheart exhibit for Exposure Arts, a network of creative minds, and I stumbled upon Tara Jones, the art director for Exposure Arts. She's a kindred spirit, to say the least. She is a lot further along than I am in establishing an actual cash flow to help contribute to my household and Im jealous that she has such a cool venue and so much opportunity. Collaborating ever since we met we seem unstoppable. Lots of projects coming this summer, fall, and I cant wait to see where it goes!!!

In other news, last month I also published my .com!!! www.jealousyjane.com  ****click it and check it out                                                   www.facebook.com/sheila.ferguson.artist

After a lot of work and brain power and collaboration with Mysterious Ninjas, I designed my website and also their site. My webdesign should be published soon. if you click there now you can see the current webdesign :( Ill announce its official release soon) Along side webdesign, I also took her product photos for her online catalog. I made a couture dress for Madam Ninja, Devon Richardson for a red carpet event. She has hired me to design her multiple red carpet dresses and also to design and dress her entourage of girls, and be the photographer for her company. Im very excited to show updates on Mysterious Ninjas

Sooooooooooooooo, Im bursting at the seams because a week from today I will be showing off a purple couture gown that i made from an old sheet that I used in my dorm rooms while at school at Indiana University Bloomington. I used the sheets until they were threadbare and ripped, but throwing them away seemed such a waste. Years later, who knew that very decision would being me this great opportunity of my very first RUNWAY SHOW!!!!
the event is called Trashion refashion Runway Show. Its at Bloomington Convention Center. Its a theme of turning trash into fashion or refashion-ing old terrible clothes into something way cooler. There will be over 50 designs this year supposedly, and Im ecxited!

Special thanks to Tara Jones and Exposure Arts, Annie Partick (makeup and hair),

 and Leah Kinder(model)

we are super excited to put this look together. Leah is a fresh-faced 18yr old from Bedford, who I came across thru Exposure. I know she's gonna ROCK the RUNWAY! novice or not!
we are going to add these shoes and necklace, but may have to switch to the gold heels in original photoshoot. Im not sure yet. Hair and makeup are a secret though. I cant let the cat outta the bag just yet, so check back in soon. Guerrilla shots Photography is kind enough to offer to take behind the scenes pics of the whole event. Im super excited, did I say that already?
