so guess who's showing on Mass Ave gallery walk july 1st?

Thats right. me. lil ole me. Kelly Hannon of Kelly Jean Photography was downtown trying to get her photos on display and she was soo kind enough to give people my info also and i didnt even know it. I was contacted shortly thereafter by Century 21 downtown indy office. with just 2 weeks notice, i was asked to display my work in their building. Kelly will also be showing at the same time. I have been busting out designs and finishing up lil tweaks on designs, ive had several fittings, successful fittings i may add, and ive had to do no alterations thus far. Ive got 5 models fitted so far, they are going to stand on platforms and be still as if they were warm mannequins. ive got another fitting today, and im super excited. Ive got a few friends helping out and also some fresh blood. I hope nobody flakes out. Ive been having the girls sign a booking agreement and model release form to cover my ass about that kind of stuff. The show is july 1st 643 massachusetts ave indpls in 46204   from 6-9pm and the models are meeting here about 4-430 to get their hair and makeup done by me. and head downtown to be positioned. Im so excited to show off my work to a larger crown than ever before. my mother donated the money to get my business cards printed, my other ones ran out and they were not as good quality. but they did the job, now i look even more professional. I also went to the good will in avon and spent 25 dollars on 4 frames. then i spraypainted them gold or black, depending on the pieces. all of them have the glass in them. Im glad to see my art professional looking instead of mounted with thumbtacks like my college days+. lol. Ive also been working in hand crocheted bikinis that glow in the black light for a photographer who is doing light studies. Right now i am concentrating on the show, making sure i am as professional as possible. I even have to still make a dress for me to wear. Im thinking of a design even when i sleep. today after a fitting at two i am going downtown to see the venue for the show and pick my wall and floor space. then i am passing out flyers for the show to spread the word. i hope this is a great opportunity to boost my business. wish me luck!!!!  skyler james is gonna take pics with my camera during the prep here at my house and also at the show of everything.  so stay tuned for candid shots.
