JealousyJane Couture One Of A Kind Prom Gown Feature

This is a custom one of a kind gown I made for this Prom Client from Bedford, IN. I also made the matching tie for her date. This gown was a HUGE hit and the client and client's mother were so happy with the final result. We met several times, first to create a sketch, then to pick out fabric from countless fabric samples I chose specifically for the client, then I began the construction, without patterns by the way. and BOOM, after a few months of meetings, fittings, etc, here is the final piece. :) 

here are the crystals I added to the bust of the gown. I also have the heating tool that helps melt the pre-applied glue on the back of the crystal to easier fuse the gem to the satin fabric we chose. it was a lot more tedious than it looks. I will be charging more for this prcess in the future. :)

here are my first underwater photos from research session number one:

welp, here is my very first attempt to film, direct and produce my first solo underwater study...not bad aye? Practice makes perfect. :) do you think it is too cheesy?  Iv got a video tech that is going to be doing my underwater video editing, but here is 16 hours worth of me trying to teach myself how to do something, lol. I cant wait to have more professional footage of my custom made mertails very soon. I am using a GoPro camera as well as my olympus HD video camera to get this footage. I am still doing research. But here you can see the movement of the mertails that I have created.  

underwater research session number two

Here is session number two in my underwater research. I have branched out after working with other photographers providing wardrobe for their "aqua" photo shoots. It has really sparked an interest, and fascination for me. I got all new equipment for this research. purchasing underwater housing that will fit mine and others professional cameras. I also got a GoPro HD video camera with underwater housing. I am also dabbling in teaching myself how to edit my video footage into something like a video shoot, telling a story with each session.  See videos below.   Ive got a video tech that is going to provide me with some tutorials to help make the process smoother for JealousyJane. Next year, I will be providing underwater services to my clients in several different packages. So, this summer is all about research. 

I have also made these custom one of a kind mermaid tails, all organic movement and one of a kind designs. Last year my custom mertails sold like hotcakes to moms around Christmas time for presents from Santa, making little girls' dreams come true. What little girl doesn't want to be a mermaid at one point in time or another.  I will dedicate another blog just to the mertails soon. I'm working on another research session for this coming Wednesday with models Shyla Robson, Keragan Sego, and hopefully Destany Harte. Professional MUA Sasha stars will be providing makeup and I guy named Ron Ostlund will be making hand made custom body chains to enhance the content of the shoot. I'm very excited.
